hard time is a visual poem, a trans-embodied reading of cruising and obscure queer literature. it centers queer desires for erotic transformations of state enforced violence. the video is in part a reworking of Jean Genet’s ‘un chant d’amour’. it recites several erotic poems I wrote, which explore relations between pleasure, death, state-power and queer-agency.
